The NSW Food Authority "Foodwise" circular 39, February 2016 has stated that " The use of automated monitoring systems does not remove the requirement to complete verification monitoring. Businesses must ensure that these systems are continually checked and monitoring is conducted on each batch to verify that the automated systems are working correctly". Businesses are thus advised to ensure all monitoring records , whether automated, electronic or manually completed are verified manually, with records available to demonstrate food safety hazards were monitored and verified as under control, as per the business's Food Safety Program. |
