Site inspections and compliance certificates

Building and Preoccupancy certification for Food Premises

Moving your business to a new site?
Making improvements to a food premise?
Want advice to ensure the new premise is compliant and suitable to your processing needs and certification scheme?
We can work with you and your architect/ planners to review plans, review sites and advise on compliance to specific food regulations for building, operations and Australian Standards.

Many Development Applications ( DA) now require plans to be reviewed to ensure the premises and fit out meet regulation and Australian Standards. To gain a Construction Certificate you may need a professional review of plans, fitout and equipment, and a letter verifying compliance to requirements and conditions of the DA.
CFS has a team of professionals qualified to review your plans and issue a report, identify any changes that will be required and issue compliance certificate for you to submit as part of the planning submission to the local council or authority.

Correct Food Systems can later conduct a site inspection and complete a Food Compliance certificate for your business if it is required for occupancy certification as a compliant food premise.

We charge or standard hourly rate for our advice and consultancy (including site premise inspection and compliance report), and for travel to and from your site.
When all requirements of the Food Standards Code and Australian Standard for Construction and Fit out of a food premise are met, and any non compliance's rectified we will issue a letter of compliance for occupation as a food business.
