Internal Audits
Food Standards Code require businesses conduct a review of their food safety programs. Businesses requiring HACCP certification must conduct an internal audit of their Food Safety Program at least annually. Correct Food Systems can conduct this audit using your or our comprehensive internal audit report and identify any potential non-conformances before your external auditor or council health officer raises non compliance or breaches. Alternatively Correct Food Systems can train your staff to undertake a internal audit.
We currently undertake internal audits for a number of clients, allowing them to proactively manage multisites or franchise stores

HACCP Certification Audits
Correct Food Systems can conduct an initial and annual HACCP Certification Audit to determine
whether your business is complying with your HACCP Food safety program. The audit fee will
reflect the length of time that it takes to carry out the audit. This will depend on your organisation, number
of employees, shifts, products, process complexity and the number of sites that
will be pre-arranged with you. You will
receive an Audit Report detailing any areas of non-compliances that will need
to be addressed. If there are no
significant non-compliances your Correct Food Systems auditor will issue a CFS HACCP Certificate,
valid for 12 months that covers CODEX HACCP principles and Food Standards
3.1.1, 3.2.1 - 3.2.3.

Third Party Regulatory Audits
Most states in Australia now permit businesses to be audited by third party auditing services, provided the individual auditor is qualified and approved by the States regulating body such as the Health Department or Food Authority.,
If you have permission and have met the criteria set by your state regulator for a independent third party auditor to audit your business, we have registered state auditors that are able to audit your business, rather than a government authority auditor. This may have advantages of consistency, convenience and flexibility for your business.
