    A diner at a northern suburbs Sydney pub has filmed her steak, "covered" in live maggots,posting the video to facebook.
    A Nandos customer also complained using social media  when served a portion of chicken with maggots.
    A food van "What The Pho" in Canberra also served a portion of food with maggots in October.

* A California university student has died in her sleep after inhaling chewing gum into her lungs.
* A five year old girl in Florida, USA has been killed while riding in the family boat by a leaping sturgeon which struck her. The fish jumped into the boat, also injuring her brother and mother.
* The Dog’s Page had reported several times about families all dying after going into septic tanks to recover one member, but now a 21st Century variation.
A woman in Xinxiang, China dropped her mobile phone into a cesspit. The woman husband, his parents and two neighbours climbed in one after another after suffering the effects in the gas build up inside.
The husband and his mother died from the effect of the gas build up.
*​A 22 year old man from Sydney’s Northern suburbs found a 2m diamond python – curled up inside his breakfast cereal box.

  • Thomas Bacon, 19 from New Jersey, USA has been arrested for assaulting another person who ate the last piece of breakfast sausage.
  • A recurrent unidentified signal at the Parkes Observatory  Australia that was thought to be from another galaxy has been identified.
    The short fast bursts of radio signals that baffled for 17 years is now known to be from the microwave oven.

  • The Dog has been told about an odd product turning up as part of the paleo diet trend.
    FATwater is being sold in the US, made from water with 2 grams of coconut oil added. 

  • 2 stories about Dogs saving owners in food related incidents in the UK:
    *A lady in South Wales was choking on a sweet that had lodged in her windpipe. Her 5 year old Springer spaniel jumped repeatedly on her back, dislodging the sweet.
    *A 67 year old man lying choking on the floor from a pickled onion was saved when his 40kg Labrador jumped on his back
