News- Revised Food Standards Code

The Foods Standards Code has been revised. There are minor modification in format, language and wording.
The requirements, intent and structure of the Code remains the same.

These amendments take effect on 1 March 2016.
Minor changes include:
  • One set of definitions (1.2.2).
  • Reference to substances by use and purpose rather than by name
